Figure I would provide an update on my unit after installation 4 months ago
Zero complaints or issues that I can provide, every day I check the ice is made, machine is working, and it gets heavy usage. I setup a small ice and few other things for the local fishermen. When ice broke 4 dollars a bag, I set this up and we figured out 1.75 would ensure power cost. We decided to keep it going and have a system where they just drop off the money in the jar take what they need and go on their way.

Okay, so let me tell you a little bit about this ice maker. It's awesome, truly it is. But totally not what I originally expected. But that was of my own doing. I have been looking for an ice maker for a while and when I saw this come across my dashboard, I hit "order" so fast I think my knuckles cracked. The issue here is that I just saw "ice maker" and looked at the photo. I didn't actually read anything further about it until after the order was placed. It was only then that I saw it was a commercial unit that makes 150 lbs of ice within a 24hr period. I live in an apartment. On the 3rd floor. With no elevator. The delivery person was so nice to carry the package all the way up and set it outside my apartment door! But this unit is huge (or, rather average in size for a commercial unit), and comes up to my hip. I got an extension hose in order to hook it up, and it works wonderfully, honestly, but is a far cry from the countertop unit I originally assumed it would be. Not a complaint! Clearly I did not read everything before ordering this commercial ice maker and that is totally on me. But if you have a house and use a lot of ice, or if you run a business where you go thru a significant amount of ice on a regular basis, this unit is absolutely for you. The cubes are a great size, the unit is pretty quiet for its size, and I am quite impressed. Tho, my poor kitchen is not nearly big enough to fit this wonderful machine.

The commercial Ice maker is freaking awesome I have it hooked up and running on my patio/ ManCave. It’s quiet compared to the one my buddy owns. And yes it will produce 150 pounds of cold ice in 24 hrs it also has a. Over flow prevention on it as well this Ice maker will make everyone’s. Home a great place to be in the hot summer time listen when ice at the store is $2.50 to $3.00 a bag for 7lb and 20lb bags and you going to the lake with 1-5 ice coolers for the weekend with all your buddies and all them cases of wobble pops. You will be saving a lot of money from buying ice. So for let say you bought 5 bags of ice a day at $3.00 a bag that’s 15$ for the weekend if you go Friday to Sunday that $45 not counting all the extra bags you’ll have to buy to keep the WOBBLE POPS COLD So at $899.00 this is a heck of a great value for the money you can spend that in just one month in ice going to lake and birthday party’s and fish frys you get what I am saying having this ice machine will save you time and money and hey just think about this all them Wobble pops you can put in it while you party is happening.
This was easy to set up and hook up for myself I am a plumbers son so it wasn’t hard. I did have to run a new supply line from my washing machine cold water side up in attic and out the soffit down the wall to the cut off valve for machine I used a refrigerator water hook up box with value and with the filter and hose provided with this ice maker. I let it function aka run for 6 hours and ran a clean up on it and drain it and started over. I let it run for two day it made 150lbs of ice in 24 hours the ice tasted funny so I cleaned it out again and started over. After the first and second cleaning the filter cleared up and started making great tasting ice no funny stale tasting ice. Anymore. I am glad I ran a test on it before just letting it run fully
This is a great thing to have and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT

We set this up in a storage room at our church..it was pretty easy to set up, much like a fridge but you also need a drain near by. It's not very loud, though you do hear running water when it's filling. Theres a very bright blue light on the outside and another inside. Those made it hard for me to video but they're a cool effect and you can turn them off. The touch screen makes it very user friendly.

You can set how slow or fast it takes to make ice. Faster ice is thinner, and the slower ice comes out like a brick that's not super easy to break apart but it does eventually break apart. In the video, it's set to slower/thicker ice. When we have larger events, we'll keep it on faster ice. It'll be perfect for our events (usually 30-200 people)

It did come with an ice scoop but no place to store it. Don't store it in the ice machine! The dirt and bacteria from your hand will eventually create mildew and mold inside (at least it did with our last machine which has been replaced by this). We plan to put a 3m hook on the side and hang the scoop. Or maybe make a makeshift holder to keep dust away since it is in an unfinished storage closet.
